The day i lost my voice

For the past few days i've been talking with my hoarse voice like frog croaking..TODAY i totally lose it all.. I'm being infected by laryngitis.*inflamation in vocal cord* caused by servere coughing and dry air (plus few session of non-stop chatting and Karaoke- thanks to jenny, mei yen, wesker and ashton) ya ya..u guys can laugh ur head out for listening to my croaking voice for the couple of day.
AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..my beautiful voice is gone..

Not a single proper word i could speak not even whisper. All i've been doing is clean the house and pin point to ashton what needs to be done. Thank god for the new technology, i could type a short text from my phone to show around the people what i wanted to say. YES..MY HANDPHONE is my life line now. I kept on remind myself not to speak a word for my vocal cord is infected and needed plenty of rest.

i'm like a 1 yr old baby at home right now. Ehhh-ing and Ahh-ing..sign language and whinging around to get my message thru. It is soooo tough. Now i totally understand how it feels like to be silent/mute.

Of course, ashton is WAYYYY happy because there isn't anyone around to nag him or scold him or even order him to do things that he hates. But he is sweet enough to takecare of me and make sure that i have plenty of water and rest. Make sure that i'm totally comfortable and be there for me when i needed it.

Any idea how to cure such problem? I've tried honey lemon tea, gargle with salt water, sipping water every now and then, been eating healthy food, and having lots of lozenges. WHAT ELSE???

HELP!!!!!!
